When it's gone, it's gone!
Here’s a chance to put yourself into the cockpit of a P-51 Mustang, without doubt, one of the most important fighters of the war.
Slide that big bubble canopy closed, and you’re back in 1944…the world of the long-range fighter pilots. See what they saw, and what they did, as they rode shotgun for the heavy bombers, escorting them all the way to Germany, and all the way home again.
The aircraft featured in this DVD is the definitive version of the Mustang. It’s a P-51 D, powered by a Packard Merlin engine, and operated by a group of Warbird enthusiasts out of Caboolture Airfield, near Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.
Your pilot is Matt Hall, an ex-R.A.A.F. FA/18 driver, and a member of the Red Bull Air Race Team. The crackle of that Merlin exhaust will stir your blood
